AP Mitchell were appointed by TJM Projects Ltd to undertake engineering works at Altrincham Grammar School for Girls in late 2022. As part of our works at the site, AP Mitchell performed the following works:
Removed 2 no floor standing boilers, non-condensing gas fired water heater and associated pipework.
Supplied and installed Worcester GC7000WP 280 Pack complete with header kit, shunt pumps and low loss header. The pipework and header kit includes the safety valves which protects the central heating system. 2” screwed steel pipework from the low loss header onto the existing system.
Supplied and installed 2 no. Heatrae Sadia Megaflo Eco 250i water heaters complete with unvented kit linking onto the existing system.
Supplied and installed new dosing pot, air & dirt separator
Sigram flues designed and installed custom flue utilising the existing flue route.
Thermal insulation on new pipework finished in cladding to match the existing cladding in the plant room.
Installation of a new BMS and control panel.
